Furnished Home for Rent in the mountains West of San Ramon

Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Long Term

Available for rent September 15, 2011 is my second, fully-furnished house, built on my property just 5km west of San Ramon.  This house is below my home and about a 1 minute walk to my home.  I own the home and do all maintenance work on it myself.  It is very clean and has a ton of amenities you won’t find in many homes in the mountains where the wildlife and incredible views, especially of the sunsets, leaves visitors speechless.

The house has the following features:

1)     On-demand hot water heater.  This type has no tank and warms the water as it passes through the heater.  One nice thing about this kind of system is it is impossible to run out of hot water.  It is also more energy efficient.

2)     High-Speed internet access in the house, either by wire or wireless signal.

3)     Land-line phone.

4)     Full kitchen including stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishes, silverware and cooking utensils.

5)     Two bathrooms, one with a large shower area and the other with an oversized bathtub.

6)     Security fence with an electric gate opener that leads to a very large parking area.  There are also security bars on all windows and metal entry doors.

7)     American landlord that will fix any problems you might have, usually the same day you let me know.

8)     SKY satellite television is already installed in the home.

9)     A large, covered area great for storage, hosting parties or doing BBQ.

10)   There are two queen-sized beds in two rooms.  Depending on the number of people who will be staying with you, we can remove or add beds up to sleeping space for six people.

11)   The house is equipted with a clothes washer and hookups for a dryer.

In addition, the house has many interesting animals and birds you will definitely see if you stay a few days.  White-faced monkeys come around about once a week.  Parrots and toucans are around daily.  In addition, howler monkeys can be heard daily and if you want to see them, it is a short walk down the hill to the lower part of the valley where they tend to stay.  Many other species of birds and animals can also be found from time to time.

The house rents for $40 a night, $250 a week or $800 a month with all bills included.  With a long-term lease (minimum 6 months), the price per month is $600 all bills included.

For short-term renters, we also include 4 hours of free transportation for every week the house is rented or 20 hours a month.  This can be used as transport to and from the airport, day trips to Arenal, Jaco or any of the local sites.  Transport must be used in at least two hour increments.
